Dan and Doug in the Holy Land - Dan Goes to the Market | |||||||||
Dan marches toward the dark looking store on the side. The occult shop has strange beads across its door, and Dan has to push them aside to get in. The shop is full of amazingly strange and bizzare religeous artifacts from tattered bits of Jesus's Dan takes his octopus hat off his head and looks it over and offers it to the occult dealer. "Ahh," said the man with a sudden smile, "A special item this is." "A family heirloom," commented Dan. "I see," said the dealer, "I will trade you this tribal mask for the hat." "Sure," said Dan, and they exchanged items. Dan hikes across the street. The fruit stand is full of all kinds of fruits, including "Hey Doug," said Dan. "Dude," said Doug, "We sleep together, isn't that enough. We really don't have to talk together all that much. Go buy something interesting for your mom. Have a peach." Dan pops the mask over his head. The man screams in terror and runs away! "Way to go, Danno," said Doug, "Now we can dig in!" Dan grabs a load of peaches. Dan strides all the way across the road to the strange occult shop. Dan looks at all this junk, and doesn't see many things that his mom would like. It's all so weird and useless. So cool. Dan offeres a generous pile of peaches to the monkey. The monkey jumps onto Dan's shoulder. "Away with you!" yelled the man, "Do not come back!" Dan got the monkey. Now he has a personal servant. What a gloruious day for Dan in the market. Perhaps his mom will like the monkey as a present. |
